Man, 31, charged in connection with Blackfield assault

A 31-year-old man from the New Forest has now been charged in connection with an assault in Blackfield on Saturday 23 August.

Jack David Cooper, of no fixed abode, has today (Friday 6 February) been charged with S.20 GBH and perverting the course of justice.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Saturday 7 February).

The charges follow a reported assault on a man in his 30s at Sainsbury’s on Hampton Lane.
